Marketing Assistance Ltd was formed in 1993 by Michael Mackman and Kevin Norman combining the activities of three marketing consultancies. We research, plan and implement so we can undertake any or all of the core elements of the marketing process. We are not advertising agents, not graphic designers, not web programmers but we have the experience and expertise to pull together the right specialists as and when required depending on what you need.

Our office is in Tiptree, Essex one hour from London, where we have the support infrastructure which includes people for data entry, direct mail, telemarketing and research and database management - sometimes described by one of our consultants as the " sweaty bits".

Marketing Assistance Limited provides services to a broad range of clients which currently includes (2011) parcel management, warehouse automation, local authorities, education, publishing, training, water utilities, energy consultancy – all the many and varied faces of the business world are here.

Area of operation

UK and overseas. We have recently undertaken projects in York and Crewe as well as overseas projects in Belgium and Spain.

Directors

	Michael Mackman BA, MMRS, FCIM, Chartered Marketer. Michael has a wide range of experience working in both national and international markets with such companies as the Myson Group, Foxboro, Budget Rent-a-Car and STC. He has also worked for two London based international market research consultancies both at director level. Michael's clients include both industrial and consumer marketing organisations. He specialises in market research and has wide experience of conducting both quantitative and qualitative surveys. He is a full member of the Market Research Society and is a past chairman of the Essex Branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is also a Fellow of the CIM in recognition of his innovative work on customer satisfaction and mystery shopping and its role in the marketing process.

	Kevin Norman BA, DipM, MCIM, Chartered Marketer. Kevin Norman has operated as a marketing consultant for over 20 years and is especially active in bsuiness development. His experience includes working for a number of major international companies - Massey-Ferguson, GKN, ISS Servisystem - as well as in marketing consultancies. Kevin is a former National Councillor of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, chair of both its Essex branch and the Eastern Region as well as being awarded its prestigious President's Award. He specialises marketing consultancy, business development and running training workshops. Kevin is a former External Panel Member in Marketing for Anglia Ruskin University and has performed a similar role for the National Vocation Council.
